Glam Report: Golden Globes 2012

The Golden Globes night 2012 was full of surprises. Some ladies showed us how to rock the red carpet, and some of them showed that too much boldness doesn't always work for such events. Feel free to tell us what you think!

If you ask us, Charlize Theron and Mila Kunis were absolute stunners last night, both in Christian Dior gowns. Charlize paired her champagne dress with an embellished headband and a sequined clutch. Mila was in a simple yet beautiful chiffon black dress, and she added some sparkle with diamond jewelry.

Bombshells Sofia Vergara and Jessica Alba channeled feminine elegance at the 2012 Golden Globe Awards. Vergara showed her perfectly shaped figure in a textured mermaid dress by Vera Wang, and Jessica Alba wore a beaded lavender gown by Gucci. Sofia was incredibly sexy, our absolute favorite!

Elle Macpherson was one of our favorites, too. She looked like an angel in a white ruffle gown by Zac Posen, accessorized with colorful diamond bangles and a small clutch. Her hairstyle was a pure perfection: gold shiny curls added some glamour to the look.
Kate Beckinsale was a sight of perfection on the red carpet in a strapless nude gown by Roberto Cavalli and she added lots of diamonds. George Clooney arrived with his blonde girlfriend Stacy Keibler who has surely nailed the modern siren vibe. She wore a beautiful red gown by Valentino and paired it with gorgeous diamond earrings and a diamond cuff bracelet.

Angelina Jolie picked a cream and red Atelier Versace gown and matched it with a miniature red clutch bag, while her lovely husband wore a classic tux by Tom Ford.  Angie's simple but elegant bun hairstyle, cat eye-makeup and diamond earrings completed the look. What do you think?

Heidi Klum paired her beige Calvin Klein gown with Lorraine Schwartz necklace which she borrowed for the event and a huge ring. What is your opinion?

Jessica Biel donned a lacy white Elie Saab Couture dress, which was a departure from her normally very sexy gowns. Her hairstyle was all about loose curls, and her makeup was simple: nude eye-shadow and accented lips. Maybe she will choose a similar look for her wedding with Justin Timberlake? Many fashion experts didn't like Jessica's look, as she could look much, much better. What do you think about the whole ensemble?
Surprisingly sexy Emma Stone stole the spotlights with her plum Lanvin dress with an eagle belt. Fierce eye-makeup and black strap shoes were complementary touches to the perfect look.

Another beauty in Lanvin: Natalie Portman. The Black Swan star accentuated her magenta gown by choosing simple accessories: diamond earrings and a bracelet, while her makeup was sophisticated and simplified.
Lea Michele chose a shiny silver antique-inspired gown by Marchesa. The feather-like applications are the focus of the outfit. Dramatic smokey eyes and a messy bun complete the look.

Petite Reese Witherspoon looked sexy as hell in red Zac Posen gown, with her blond locks. She reminds a little bit of Jessica Rabbit, don't you think?

Australian beauty Nicole Kidman paired her gray halter gown by Versace with gold 'to die for' clutch and a thin bangle. Wasn't she beautiful?

Freida Pinto took a risk in this teal Prada dress. Her make-up, gold accessories and hairstyle were beautiful, but the dress...hmm, judge for yourselves!

Salma Hayek looked like a goddess in this gold and black Gucci gown, embellished with sequins. She accessorized her look with a black satin clutch, gold earrings and perfect huge curls that were covering her neckline.

According to most of the comments, Madonna was a fashion failure of the night. Sequin and satin embellished gown, black leather gloves, three gigantic bracelets and a big cross on her neckline made it all look too much. We know you're the queen of pop, but that title doesn't allow you to put everything you have on yourself.

Young actress Sarah Hyland from The Modern Family showed off her beauty in this nude Dolce & Gabbana gown that was completed with a beautiful satin-lace belt. She was one of the biggest hits last night as her curly bun, lace dress and smokey eyes were perfect!

Hairstyles & make-up: Style icons just love curly and bun hairstyles, which they proved last night. Many of them chose neutral makeup for eyes and beige colors for lips. Long eyelashes and peach blush are a must, and so are hair highlights.

It seems like nude was the color of the evening as many beauties chose it for this event.
Finally, tell us what you think about Golden Globe dresses. Who was a style queen, and who didn't choose the right look this year?
